Since the first coronavirus case was confirmed in United Kingdom, the infection has hit all 50 states. However, some areas have managed to keep the numbers low.
Even though the overall count of coronavirus patients has reached 2 today, Rhondda Cynon Taff still has the lowest number of cases and deaths in the state of Wales.
Powys and Newport are the state's leaders in confirmed cases with 354 and 38 patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Ceredigion and Gwynedd have the lowest count of confirmed cases in Wales. Together with the latter ones, Rhondda Cynon Taff’s per capita infection rate is regarded below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
