The Colorado state is facing COVID-19 along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. According to the stats, about 426K confirmed cases have been reported as of today, and about 5,9K deaths. Figures have increased by 1,5K coronavirus cases in a day.

In Colorado, the highest number of inhabitants tested positive can be seen in Denver and El Paso. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 52 people per mi2 (19 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. In a week, the overall number of COVID-19 positive people in Colorado may reach 438K cases. Still, the rate of infection is informed to be 7,4K per 100K people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
