The U.S. has the most confirmed cases of the new virus in the world. Coronavirus keeps all people on alert in Central City and today, the virus still covers the territory of Gilpin County. Its population density is considered to be 36 people per mi2 (14 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. As for the state, the Colorado officials noted about 495K coronavirus cases, an increase of 1,5K cases from yesterday.

Denver County and El Paso County counties are still the most-affected counties in the state.

These numbers don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our aim is to stay home and take care of ourselves. You should not forget about protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
