The U.S. has the most confirmed cases of the new virus in the world. COVID-19 keeps all people on alert in Lakewood Ranch and today, the invisible enemy still spreads across Manatee County. Its population density is considered to be 519 people per mi2 (200 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. As for the state, the Florida officials announced about 1M confirmed cases, an increase of 10K cases from yesterday.

Miami-Dade County and Broward County counties are still the most-affected counties in the state.

These rates don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our aim is to stay inside and take care of ourselves. You should be aware of protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
