On 30 January, India reported its first case of COVID-19 in Kerala. Maharashtra is now the worst-hit state with the most number of confirmed COVID-19 cases - 1820059. In this state, the death toll due to the highly contagious disease has reached 47071 since the pandemic’s outbreak as 47071 deaths got reported since yesterday.

West Bengal is one of the states with the highest rates, as of today, it is reported to have 483K positive cases, 451K people have recovered. It is considered that in next week the overall number of COVID-19 cases in West Bengal will reach 509K cases.
