State by state, county by county, the COVID-19 outbreak is spreading in the U.S. South Dakota is among the states that have the highest number of coronavirus cases, as of today, its figure has reached 142K.

Tripp County is not the most affected area in South Dakota while Pennington County and Lincoln County are the most-infected ones in the state. The risk of infection in the county is average if we talk about its population density that is 3 people per mi2 (1 people per km2) but the situation is still difficult. It is considered that in next week the total number of COVID-19 cases in Tripp County will rise up to 857 cases.
