Since the first COVID-19 positive person was confirmed in the U.S., the disease has affected all 50 states. However, some areas have managed to keep the numbers low.

The population density in the county is 22 people per mi2 (8 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. Even though the overall count of COVID-19 cases has reached 10 today, Langlade County still has the lowest count of cases and fatal cases in the state of Wisconsin.

Milwaukee County and Brown County are the state's leaders in COVID-19 positive people with 14K and 3,2K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Florence County and Burnett County have the lowest count of COVID-19 positive people in Wisconsin. Together with the latter ones, Langlade County’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.

Please note, even if your county has a low number of COVID-19 cases, the virus is still active. Please remain vigilant and keep up with good hygiene practices.
