The Illinois state is fighting against the coronavirus disease along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. According to the statistics, nearly 1,1M COVID-19 positive cases have been reported as of today, along with nearly 21K deaths. Figures have increased by 5,2K COVID-19 cases in a day.
In Illinois, the highest number of the population tested positive can be seen in Cook and DuPage. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 232 people per mi2 (89 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive.
