The U.S. health regulators continue to monitor coronavirus cases in the country. Today, Illinois is in the top 10 the U.S. states with the most cases. Cook County is reported to have the highest number of confirmed cases in this state - 445K. DuPage County and Will County are in the second and third places accordingly.
It is predicted that in next week the total number of coronavirus cases in Effingham County will reach 4,5K cases. Due to the high population density of 71 people per mi2 (28 people per km2) the risk of infection in this area is above average. The number of fatal cases in Illinois rose up to 21K people. Furthermore, the rate of infection in Effingham County is reported to be 13K per 100,000 people that is considered to be above average.
