The U.S. health regulators continue to monitor COVID-19 positive people in the country. Today, Illinois is in the top 10 the U.S. states with the most cases. Cook County is reported to have the highest count of coronavirus patients in this state - 427K. DuPage County and Will County are in the second and third places accordingly.

It is considered that in next week the total number of COVID-19 positive people in DuPage County will reach 70K cases. Due to the high population density of 2,700 people per mi2 (1,100 people per km2) the risk of infection in this area is above average. The number of fatalities in Illinois rose up to 20K people. Furthermore, the rate of infection in DuPage County is informed to be 7,4K per 100,000 people that is considered to be above average.
