The U.S. government and health care system are implementing various efforts to slow the spread of the new coronavirus, known as SARS-CoV-2. COVID-19 pandemic keeps all people on alert in Lake Luzerne-Hadley and today, the virus still spreads across New York. Its population density is considered to be 27,751 people per mi2 (10,715 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. As for the state, the New York officials reported about 1,4M confirmed cases, an increase of 11K cases from yesterday.

Suffolk County and Nassau County counties are still the most-affected counties in the state.

These numbers don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our key thing is to stay home and take care of ourselves. You should be aware of protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
