The number of confirmed cases of the new virus continues to grow in the the U.S. COVID-19 pandemic keeps all people on alert in Chester and today, the invisible enemy still spreads across Randolph County. Its population density is considered to be 56 people per mi2 (22 people per km2) so the risk of being infected is below average. As for the state, the Illinois officials mentioned about 1,4M coronavirus cases, an increase of 1,4K cases from yesterday.

Cook County and DuPage County counties are still the most-infected counties in the state.

These numbers don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our key thing is to stay home and take care of ourselves. You should not forget about protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
