The U.S. has the most confirmed cases of the new virus in the world. COVID-19 keeps all people on alert in DeKalb and today, the virus still covers the territory of DeKalb County. Its population density is informed to be 170 people per mi2 (64 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. As for the state, the Illinois officials reported about 770K cases of COVID-19, an increase of 11K cases from yesterday.

Cook County and DuPage County counties are still the most-infected counties in the state.
