Los Angeles County and Riverside County are the state's leaders in COVID-19 positive people with 1,3M and 309K patients with confirmed infection accordingly, while Sierra County and Trinity County have the lowest number of COVID-19 positive people in California. Together with the latter ones, Alpine County’s per capita infection rate is considered below average, but the coronavirus still remains a threat to public safety.
