The California state is fighting against coronavirus along with the whole U.S. that still tries hard to slow the pandemic’s rise. As stated in the stats, about 917K COVID-19 positive cases have been reported as of today, along with about 17K fatal cases. Figures have increased by 4,9K cases in a day.

In California, the highest number of inhabitants affected by virus can be seen in Los Angeles and Riverside. The risk of infection is average as the population density is 253 people per mi2 (97 people per km2) but the numbers are far from positive. A week later, the overall number of confirmed cases in California will rise to 961K cases. Still, the rate of epidemics spread is informed to be 2,3K per 100K people that is considered to be average among other states but it’s early to conclude that the situation is improving.
