State by state, county by county, the COVID-19 outbreak is spreading in the U.S. California is among the states that have the highest number of coronavirus patients, as of today, its figure has reached 3,7M.
Imperial County is not the most affected area in California while Riverside County and San Bernardino County are the most-infected ones in the state. The risk of infection in the county is average if we talk about its population density that is 39 people per mi2 (15 people per km2) but the situation is still difficult. It is considered that in next week the total number of coronavirus cases in Imperial County will reach 28K cases. The statistics also show the average infection rate per 100,000 people - it’s 16K, but the virus is still spreading.
