The U.S. government and health care system are implementing various efforts to slow the spread of the new coronavirus, known as SARS-CoV-2. COVID-19 pandemic keeps all people on alert in Oak Park and today, the invisible enemy still spreads across Ventura County. Its population density is considered to be 370 people per mi2 (140 people per km2) so the risk of infection is below average. As for the state, the California officials noted about 1,3M cases of COVID-19, an increase of 14K cases from yesterday.

Los Angeles County and San Bernardino County counties are still the most-affected counties in the state.

These numbers don’t give the whole picture because many cases — including mild or asymptomatic infections — have not been diagnosed. Our aim is to stay inside and take care of ourselves. You should not forget about protection measures and the symptoms of coronavirus.
